I stopped by both Kalamazoo SCs on a recent afternoon. The talent at Angels was pretty good, probably 7 dancers who ranged from 6-8. As usual, the lap dances were good but like most west Michigan clubs, mileage was limited to breast touching and not much beyond that. If you're looking for a nice club for an afternoon beer and some semi-naked women, this is a good stop.

In contrast, my stop by the Deja Vu was disappointing. Three dancers were on duty, all overweight and none above a 6. In general, I prefer afternoons to evenings but it is too bad that more clubs don't cater to afternoon visitors by hiring some decent talent.

I haven't tried the Battle Creek clubs for afternoon talent. Any recommendations from board members?

Agree with you 100% on Angels and their afternoon talent, havent stepped foot in a Deja Vu operated club in a decade.
The Battle Creek clubs ? Heartbeats opens at 5pm but your lucky if a dancer shows up before 7pm, HOTS on the hill is open at noon and usually by the time I stop in normally 3pm or so they have 3-4 dancers working, usually 2 in the 7 maybe 8 range.
Depending on your type as always, same mileage as Angels though.
I like Tella at HOTS, blonde, short, great dances, she works Tues-Sat I believe.
