Well after Kevins report I couldnt believe it had slipped as bad as he reported so I had to visit.
It was "amatuer" night and there were 13 girls there to compete for that title along with 15-20 girls at the club.

All in all it was a great night, no extras, nothing offered and there are cameras everywhere so touching anything besides the back or legs is not encouraged and the manager went through the VIP area at least once every song checking things out....
Come on guys...The cameras are there, let the girls do what they feel like doing within reason of course, that may be why I never saw more than 3-4 guys getting dances at any time and the place was packed this night.
I didnt get the feel that was a bar with topless dancers at all and being a fan of Heartbeats and HOTS I know what a neighborhood pub that happens to have topless dancer is.
Its what I like on a normal occasion, Once in awhile I want the "strip club experience" so I go elsewhere.
I felt that this was just as good if not a tad better than the Detroit clubs I visited the previous weekend IF, I repeat IF you are not looking for extras or extreme groping.
The outside Detroit metro clubs have the lock on that strip club experience, I like both and know where to go for either depending on my mood.
I had fun this night, No drink hustle, I had to ask the dancers if they wanted a drink, The dollar tip hustle got old because many of the girls did nothing but that all night long.......while others didnt go around at all...? depends on how much you want to make I guess ?

Thanks to Boozeman for an excellent report. I'm curious as to why there are so few strip club reviews being posted. Most of these topics get plenty of "views." Are readers of Two Sheds failing to go to strip clubs-- and thus have nothing to report? Or are the forum readers attending strip clubs but failing to report trip updates? If the later (making SC visits but failing to report), then why? Too much effort? Nothing new to report? Other reasons?????

Perhaps I'm wrong, but here are some thoughts why there aren't many reviews --

This is a very localized website and while it's somewhat anonymous, it's not really anonymous, if you know what I mean. Unlike, say stripclublist.com where this is almost complete anonymity, here we log on with a username and word gets around who is who. Some posters may feel hesitant to post negative reviews for fear of pissing off a dancer, a bouncer, a manager, other customers etc...

Also, I think there is always the fear of L.E. lurking around and if the reviews are too explicit, then the fun could come to an end. TUSCL seems to be much more explicit with their reviews...and if you don't know what I mean, here is an excerpt from a recent Bogart's review. I don't think I've read anything like this review on here.

I was in Detroit a few weeks ago and went to several clubs in and outside Detroit.
I only wrote a review for a couple because honestly there was just nothing to post about the others.
Same girls for the most part that I`ve seen for years, a couple of newbies but not worth mentioning.
I think the comment about most of us visiting the same clubs all the time has left the reviews lacking because nothing changed or theres nothing worth posting.
I`ve felt that way with the clubs in Battle Creek and Jackson as of late.
I`m heading back to amatuer night though, maybe another review and hopefully not a high heel in my face.....

At the risk of hijacking this thread (not sure where this type of generic topic should be posted??)------Snowman's speculations regarding the lack of SC reports are most reasonable. I suspect that there is not that much new and noteworthy to report about the SCs listed on this forum. I was surprised to note that Twosheds lists 1683 members, many of whom have posted less than 5 times but a sizable number of members have posted 30 plus times and a select few have posted over 1,000 times (Boozeman included among the frequent posters club!). So, there appears to be a reasonable number of members who could be posting, if there was any noteworthy news.

I do wonder if concerns about anonymity might dissuade people from posting. Seems to be a simple solution-- don't divulge your screen name to anyone. Is there another threat to anonymity that I'm missing (short of a court order to identify a particular user)?

Yeah, that was a pretty explicit review from TUSCL. I did note that names were not mentioned in the review. I've seen other slightly less explicit reviews posted on a number of Detroit clubs-- I wonder if there is any evidence that the reviews have impaired the fun. I know that the Detroit City Council just passed an ordinance regulating strip clubs but I don't know if that ordinance was inspired by explicit reports on the clubs. Any insight?

Yes - I agree that I may have been overreaching about the anonymity issue. It's probably not a huge concern, but for those few whose identity is known, it could affect the content of their reviews. I know I would be a bit less reserved if I wrote a review for clubs where I am known.

And, yeah I agree that the explicitness of the review may not impair any fun, but I know that topic used to be discussed quite often on TUSCL. So in some parts of the country, it may be a concern. But some do write in vague terms that is confusing. For example, on recent post on the Lansing DJV site, Horndog wrote, "can't deal with the no lips policy that has begun"
What does this mean....I would have liked a bit more explicitness. I can't imagine it mean lips on Mr. Johnson since this club isn't known for extras. Does it mean lips on the mouth, lips on the nips....or something having to do with the lips south of the border?


Interesting research on the members....so with that many members, it's obvious there are people out there looking for information, but with so few posters (and especially so few actual reviews) they aren't getting a whole lot of help.

i went with some friends YOU KNOW WHO and it was fun.... the normal girls wherent there actually there wasnt to many girls working that i saw... and if they where they where all in the back being lazy strippers... Well, got to another Tuesday night.
There were so many girls for the amatuer contest they all didnt fit on the stage...18 I think was what they said....
