I remember when this place rocked with the hottest dancers around! I came in Saturday and was told that there were 11 hot dancers...wrong! There were 11 dancers but none were hot. There was even one that looked like she just had a baby on Friday! I think it will be a long time before I go back

I know the feeling about taking a road trip and leaving disappointed. However, lately I've found Murphy's to be a locals/regulars club that is improving. Some of the new dancers (Karma, Midnight, Candy, and 'da blond') have me coming back more often.

Came back again because Murphy's use to rock...Much better last night. There were some really hot ladies! WooHoo! Even ran into an old favorite from GR. I'll be back...Thank you Murphy's!

Oh, Why do some dancers charge $20 and some charge $22 for lap dances?

If a girl tell you it's 22 tell her to learn how to read. Sign right outside says 20. How hard up do these girls have to be to try and scam 2 bucks off of you.....

If the girl charges $22 instead of $20 I mean come on guys, it ONLY $2, most guys tip us anyways!!! I'm not saying that its right for a girl to lie about the price, but humor the poor girl, she at least gave u a good time and that good time was also her time, I'd bet she was worth a lil $2 tip

But I am the one working, while you sit their enjoying yourself, I think if a girl does a good dance than a tip shouldn't be an issue, not saying lieing is ok, but cheat ass guys coming to clubs piss me off.

So the "its only $5" makes no sense, that would be like me going to go get food and wanting to only pay half price for full service!!! When I know the set price, if the waitress wanted a $2 tip for her hard work than I would give it to her, most likely way more than that!!!

True, I understand what you are getting at. Remember two things, you have to take the good with the bad.....how many times has a customer gave you a 20 or made it rain because you gave a good dance on stage?......and two, most men are cheap.

I'm just saying, dances are a set price. She should not try raise them....nor should I try to lower them.

And before the pee-nut gallery chimes in....I'm talking about dances not extras.

As long as I can remember, they have had signs up, as you enter Lap Dance area and also inside the room stating the rates for dances. This was true back in November when the original post was made. I have no problem buying a dancer a drink or even tipping them. But that is always my decision to make. Any dancer who would tell me the wrong price for a dance would never get another dance or even a $1 tip from me. Same is true for any dancer who lies about the number of dances she does. It has happened at Murphy's. The way to get a little extra from me is to be nice to me, treat me as if you enjoy my company and not that I have money you want to get from me. While it is the dancer who is working, until I spend it, the money in my wallet is mine. You may cheat me out of my money once, but only once. Anyone one who lies about the price of dances is dishonest and does not deserve my business.

Valerie I had to laugh when I saw your response. First though you are working you are being paid an exorbitant rate. If a song lasts 4 minutes and you get paid $20 that works out to $300 per hour. Now you are going to say the house gets some of that, but the guy is still paying it.

So if the guy does not feel like tipping you, even if it is only $2 go get a job at Speedway at $8 an hour. Oh wait they don't tip there either.

Oh and for all the dancers that want to tell me I am full of shit, I have no problem paying the $20 for a good dance, and I get them all the time. Just don't whine if a guy doesn't give you a tip.

I agree with what u all say, I said I don't condone lieing about the price, that's something I would NEVER do, I personally believe in a little something called karma(I have it written down my spine even) all I said is she asked for $2 extra dollars...that's really not as bad as I have heard some guys say they have been charged.

You guys also have to understand that as a dancer I run into super cheap assholes everyday, guys that sit in a club for hours and hours on end.without even tipping the waitresses!!! I mean if service was bad or girls weren't their taste than fine don't waste your money, but they obviously enjoy the place if they stay for 3 hours!!! So when I hear a guy complain about $1-$2 or even $5 while at a stripclub I kinda turn on my defenses, and then of course I post my opinion, everyone is entitled to it, like I said I wouldnt personally do what she did, and yes its wrong and u as a appreciated customer shouldn't have to put up with it, but also I am a dancer and theirs a small part of me that also kinda understands were she is coming from too, I have been both a customer and a dancer, I am good at putting myself in.peoples shoes.

I won't ever get mad at u guys for your opinions.because your opinion TO ME is what makes the stripclub industry go around, so please don't get offended by my opinions even if they seem full of shit, like I said I have a tendency to put myself in someone else's shoes while I post, therefore someone isn't gonna like it, yet someone else will.

Ps. We really don't make as much as u guys think we do, during the summer is one of the worst times of the year for us, yes we have days(rare days lately) were we leave with $500-$600 but we also have days were we leave with $40 and doing what we do and working non stop in 8 inch heals that's really not enough to keep girls their.

Yupitsme - I have no issus with tipping and do so as much as I can afford. But I wasn't asked for a tip, she just charged me more. It wasn't the extra $2 it was the way it happened...and if she gave me good lap dances that would have been cool too...but she kept taking out her teeth and bitching about how often she's been beat up and she was too drunk to be worth even the $20.

Now Luscious Raven & Peaches always got extra tips or extra dances

I'm sorry u wasted your money on a dancer like her, I absolutely do NOT condone lying to a customer and taking advantage to make more money, I guess I just got a lil defensive for the girl without really knowing your side first and I apologize, its just us dancers run into cheapskates everyday who complain about $1, my favorite is when we r on stage and a guy gets boobs in his face for a dollar and then he says "is that all I get???" Grrrrr I hate that!!!

From your posts u sound like a decent man, I would like to inform u that we are not all the same, I work at heartbeats in battle creek so if you want to meet an intelligent, honest and genuine dancer that won't rip u off for your extra $2 come on out!!!!
