Before you pass on to the newsgroup, I'd take this opportunity to point out a couple things that might prove useful if you're a neophyte:

1. There's a lot of spam in this group.  The folks who post there have come up with a convention that lets them avoid most of the spam.  They put "ASSC" at the front of the subject line in their posts.  You can use this fact along with the filter or sorting capabilities of your newsreader program to read just the good stuff.  Don't forget this convention if you post there yourself.
2. There's a web site called Google that archives the contents of most newsgroups, including alt.sex.strip-clubs.  (They bought out Déjà.com who used to do this.)  This site also allows searching of that archive.  If you are looking for clubs in a particular locale, you should search the archive for others' reviews and comments in a.s.s-c before posting a request for information online.  Use the power search on this site to do this.  Some of the folks on a.s.s-c get real testy if you haven't done your homework first.
3. There's a lot of jargon in this group that makes it a bit hard on newbies.  They post a glossary on the web site which can help, although there is quite a bit of inside humor to wade through while searching for actual help.
