“Private Messages”

Our web site provides a capability that allows one user to send a message to one or more other users. The phpBB bulletin board software that we use calls this “Private Messaging.” While it is our policy to keep your private messages private, you should be aware that this privacy is not absolute. The phpBB system stores these messages unencrypted, in a database. The owner of this web site (TwoSheds) and/or authorized staff at the ISP which hosts the web site do have access to that database and could view these messages. Situations during which that might occur include:

1. Resolving software problems affecting the availability, function and performance of the web site.
2. Creating and restoring backups of the content of the web site.
3. Performing other tasks required to ensure the smooth operation of the TwoSheds web site.
